The church in Semuy was classified as a historic monument by decree of 2 February 1920. Its main construction phases date from the 12th and 18th centuries. Since 1992, the former grain mill and the farmhouse in Waroux in Semuy have housed the Musée de la bataille de mai-juin 1940.

The ZNIEFF de la plaine alluviale et du cours de l'Aisne extends from the north of Vouziers to Semuy and includes the municipality of Semuy.
