Culture and Architectural History
The Église Saint-Laurent stands in the centre of the town. It dates from the 12th century; its choir and bell tower were built around 1200.
The church is entirely roofed with slate. The nave and choir have roofs with long roof slopes, the apse has a polygonal hipped roof, and the bell tower has a square spire. The Église Saint-Laurent was built from limestone rubble with dressed-stone quoins; its interior is finished in exposed stone.
The historic townscape also includes the cross known as a “croix de calvaire”, which dates from the 16th or 17th century.
