The Church of Saint-Léger in Rancennes was restored in the 17th century and built on the remains of a very large Roman villa. The church contains a reused marble slab, possibly from the 17th century, featuring a vanitas depiction: it shows a winged hourglass, an angel with a sickle, a skull, a shovel and a pickaxe.

The Maison à pignon has preserved its medieval appearance with a large gable facing the street, a round-arched door and traces of windows with tracery. Despite extensive alterations, it is a testimony to 16th-century bourgeois secular architecture.
