Culture and History
The Château de Lûmes is considered a very rare example of 15th-century military architecture. The ruins include an invisible casemate gallery running beneath the entire earth rampart, which originally formed the rampart. At regular intervals, this gallery has firing openings for arquebuses.
The Église Saint-Brice de Lumes also has a clearly describable architectural form: its floor plan follows that of a Latin cross, with a single-nave body, two chapels forming a false transept, and a chancel with a five-sided apse. The church is built of limestone rubble masonry and covered with slate.

Nature and Activities
The voie verte at the gates of the municipality of Lumes makes it possible to explore the Meuse Valley. In addition, an association organizes a hike each year in one of the five villages.
The Halte Fluviale de Lumes is a nautical mooring facility with a service station between Sedan and Charleville-Mézières and can accommodate eight boats.
