The Saint-Nicolas Church in Belval contains a main altar with a canopy that has been classified as a protected historic object. The main altar dates from the 18th century, and the canopy features six Corinthian columns. Saint-Nicolas Church was inaugurated in 1831.

The Val de Sormonne is an agricultural landscape named after the river, with hedgerows and orchards. This landscape is home to some of the most remarkable aquatic species in the Parc naturel régional des Ardennes.
Trails
The “De la pierre à l’ardoise” discovery trail comprises two circular routes between Belval and Rocroi. Each of the two “De la pierre à l’ardoise” circular routes consists of three to four stages and is designed to take less than one hour. A few dozen metres after leaving Belval, the “De la pierre à l’ardoise” route enters the Parc naturel régional des Ardennes and overlooks the Val de Sormonne.
