The “Circuit VTT-FCC Saint-Didier-sur-Arroux” is a signposted, difficult 21-km mountain bike route with an elevation gain of 500 m that starts and ends in Saint-Didier-sur-Arroux. The route runs between forest and pond. Also signposted and difficult is “Les Collines de l'Arroux”, a 13.7 km route with an elevation gain of 350 m that starts and ends in Saint-Didier-sur-Arroux.
Culture
The present parish church in the centre of Saint-Didier-sur-Arroux replaced an undated medieval church; the parish has been documented since the 9th century. In 1846, the church was rebuilt using stones and building materials from the demolished church of Thil-sur-Arroux. It has a rectangular floor plan, a bell-tower porch, a nave with few openings and an adjoining choir.
The imposing ruins of the 19th-century Château de Charency are located above the Étang de Bousson. The surviving remains include an octagonal tower and one of the square towers; the chapel is in good condition. The Pêcherie de Bousson has preserved its technical equipment and its terraced ponds; it is put back into operation once a year.
