Culture and History
The Église romane de Mont-Saint-Vincent dates from the late 11th and early 12th centuries and has been classified as a Monument historique since 1913. Its sculpted capitals feature decoration in which the influence of Cluniac art can be recognised.
The Musée archéologique Jean Régnier is located in a 17th-century salt storehouse on the summit of Mont-Saint-Vincent. It displays objects from archaeological excavations in the region conducted by Henri Parriat and Dr Jeannin. The first floor is dedicated to Romanesque art.
The historical sights of Mont-Saint-Vincent also include the town walls.
Nature and Landscape
The Belvédère of Mont-Saint-Vincent is located on the site of a former windmill. From there, it is possible to see 14 départements; on clear days, the Mont Blanc can sometimes also be seen.

The “Sur la route de l’art roman” route leads through the lanes of Mont-Saint-Vincent to the former Cluniac church dating from the 11th century.

A group programme offered by Creusot Montceau leads to the former salt storehouse, the medieval garden, the fortifications, the old houses and the Romanesque church, and ends at the Belvédère.
