In the wider regional area around Issy-l'Évêque are the Château du Mousseau, a château, as well as three archaeological sites of Bibracte on Mont-Beuvray: Les Grandes Portes, La chapelle Saint-Martin and La Chaume.

The parish church of Issy-l'Évêque was surrounded by fortifications, which have now almost completely been dismantled. Some houses arranged in a circle can still be seen there.

The Glacière du château de Montrifaut is shaped like two cones of equal volume arranged one above the other. Its lower section is underground, and it can hold up to 11 m³ of ice. It can be accessed via rue du Grand Montrifaut near the giant wooden shoe.
