Culture and History
The Chapelle de Domange is a 12th-century chapel and has been classified as a Monument historique since 2 September 1938. The Église Saint-Germain was entered on the list of Monuments historiques by decree of 12 September 1991 and is notable for its neoclassical architecture.

Wine and Craftsmanship
Les Vignerons d’Igé founded one of the first cooperative wineries in the Mâconnais in 1927 and operate a winery with tastings and sales. The Distillerie Méan in Igé is an artisanal liqueur distillery with a room for tastings and sales.
Routes
The Randonnée œnologique d’Igé begins near the church, where explanatory panels are located. Les secrets du Roman begins and ends in Igé on Rue Saint-Germain and passes through forests, teppe areas, hedgerows and vineyards. Along the Sentier du bois de la Roche, the landscape, with its Mediterranean influences, showcases protected flora.
The Mâcon-Igé wine route is a 6-kilometre marked walking trail through six climats in the village of Igé’s vineyard plots. It leads to the Fichet, Les Vignerons d’Igé and des Roches wineries, where the wines from the vineyard plots traversed are offered for tasting.
Rural Heritage
In Year III, the municipality had the means to build the Lavoir à Impluvium from hewn stone with a tiled roof and provide the washerwomen with shelter beneath a canopy. It forms part of the rural, artisanal, agricultural and technical heritage.
