Culture
The Church of Saint Martin in Allériot preserves recognizable elements of a medieval church, probably Romanesque and later modified in the Gothic style. It houses two bells dating from 1552 and 1768; the 1552 bell has been classified as a historic monument since 1932. Its bell tower is covered with multicoloured glazed tiles.
The Musée Vivant-Denon in Chalon-sur-Saône houses finds from the Bronze Age site at the ford of Bougerot in Allériot. The finds have been dated to the period from 950 to 850 BC.
By the Water
The Port d’Allériot is historically documented as a port on the Saône and as a ferry crossing. The port includes a paved access ramp to the river and parking spaces at the port.
The Ponton d’Allériot is open all year round; stays are free of charge for a maximum of 12 hours.
Out and About
The “Un maïs au cœur d’artichaut depuis Allériot” route is an educational walking trail with puzzles along the way.

For more than 30 years, Frairie de Bourgogne has been producing terrines and regional ready-made dishes at its facility in Allériot according to traditional recipes, and also operates a boutique there.
