The chapel and the enclosed park of the Domaine de la Serrée are protected as historic monuments. The gardens and the park, along with their outbuildings, were placed under heritage protection by decree of 12 October 2022; certain components were listed on 19 August 2016.

Near Mesmont are Château de Blaisy-Haut, a château; Abbaye Notre-Dame de la Bussière, an abbey; Châteauneuf Castle, a historic site; and Abbaye de Saint-Seine, an abbey.

Montagne de Saint-Laurent in Mesmont is an isolated hill with a 13-hectare plateau and an elevated water point; the site has been inhabited since the Neolithic period. A sanctuary dating from the Roman Imperial period has been documented on its plateau, and aerial surveys indicate the likely presence of a fanum there. Today, an iron cross and the Chapelle Saint-Laurent stand on the summit. The numerous remains there dating from the Roman Imperial period suggest the existence of an elite centre, organised in part around a masonry building with an apse measuring more than 300 m².

The Jardin de la Serrée consists of 18th-century French gardens created by Juste Rameau. It complements the romantic valley of the Goulotte stream with viewpoints and various tree species.

The first section of the Traversée des cinq vallées runs along open, easily walkable limestone paths and through shady undergrowth, offering views over the Ouche Valley. The second section continues to Mesmont and follows numerous watercourses that converge towards the Ouche Valley.
