The Oze flows at the foot of Mont Réa in the Ménétreux-le-Pitois landscape area and also forms a natural boundary between the municipalities of Ménétreux-le-Pitois and Venarey-les-Laumes.

Culture
The Église Saint-Valentin de Griselles is traditionally dated to the year 888. At the church, the choir was rebuilt and two side chapels were added in 1788; the nave remained unchanged. Its bell is named Renée-Virginie and was consecrated in 1913.
The Château de Ménétreux also preserves several historical details. The oldest document concerning the château dates from 1578. The estate includes a preserved tower called «Tour Grise»; a square tower was converted into a fortified dovecote.
The Fontaine du Pape is also part of the local heritage. It was still used as a public washhouse before 1914. Below the Fontaine du Pape are basins that were used for roasting hemp.
Hiking
The «Entre Ménétreux et Venarey-Les-Laumes» hike is accessible via Gare de Les Laumes-Alésia railway station. For the «Autour de Ménétreux-le-Pitois» hiking route, you can park at the edge of the D119a in the hamlet of Ménétreux-le-Bas; the path then leads close to the village church.
