Marcilly-Sur-Tille: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Culture and history

The Church of Saint Maurice dates from the 13th century. It has a wooden bell turret with a bell dating from 1684, as well as a pulpit made of richly carved Gothic panels.

A Neolithic camp was located on Mont de Marcilly. Its isolated and commanding position made it possible to control the Tille Valley. The weapons found in the Neolithic camp, including sickle blades and knife blades, as well as specialised tools, are exhibited at the Archaeological Museum of Dijon. The former cemetery chapel is listed as a historic monument; the listing was made by an order dated 26 October 1925.
