Lanthes is characterised by the parish church of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine and its furnishings and details, which were created over several centuries. The church was probably built in the 13th century, largely rebuilt in the 16th century, and expanded in the 18th century through the rebuilding of the choir and the addition of the sacristy. Its front façade and the lower section of the nave walls are made of limestone.

In the nave, the pulpit Chaire à prêcher is located on the right-hand wall. It has been classified as a protected object since 3 April 1907, dates partly from the first quarter of the 16th century, and displays later work from the third quarter of the 19th century. Also in the nave of the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine church, the confessional features the fully sculpted depiction Ronde-bosse: instruments de la Passion.

The furnishings also include the bell of Lanthes. An inscription on it states that it was cast in 1852 and names Jean Bte Petitjean as mayor of Lanthes. The bell is operated by hand via a system with a rope and half lifting arm.

The Sentier de la Bauche is an 11-kilometre hiking trail with a stated duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. It passes through the municipalities of Pagny-le-Château, Lanthes, Seurre and Chamblanc. The trail is heavily shaded and initially runs through significant woodland areas, followed by agriculturally used land.
