Geographical Location
Ladoix-Serrigny lies at the foot of Corton Hill and is an integral part of the Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne.
Culture and History
Construction of the Church of Saint Marcel began in the second half of the 12th century in the Romanesque style. The choir and transept date from the beginning of the 13th century.
Notre-Dame du Chemin was built in the 11th and 12th centuries, probably on the site of an older building. The church stood at the crossroads of two ancient roads. A pilgrimage takes place at Notre-Dame du Chemin every year on 15 August; it was initiated in 1874.
The present-day Château de Serrigny was built at the beginning of the 18th century. It is surrounded by a seven-hectare park landscaped in the English style and planted with trees. The château still retains its interior layout, with a library in the style of Louis XIV, salons and a dining room, as well as period furnishings from the time of its construction.

Wine and Regional Tradition
The Ladoix appellation produces red wines from Pinot Noir and white wines from Chardonnay.
The Balade Gourmande takes place on the first Sunday in July and leads across the Corton slope. Regional dishes and the wines of the area are sampled along the way. The event welcomes around 3,000 participants.
Landscape and Trails
Hiking trails lead through Burgundy's famous vineyards.
