The Château de Genlis was built at the end of the 17th century. Its large, tree-filled park and courtyard were completely redesigned in 2024.

The Church of Saint Martin in Genlis was built between 1847 and 1849 after the previous church was demolished. The Saint-Martin Hall was built in 1932 and 1933 and was also used for film screenings from the beginning of the 1950s. The Cinéma Odéon in Genlis offers several screenings per week.

The Festival des Etoiles dans Genlis features theatre, circus and poetry performed by local artist groups. Since 2021, the town of Genlis has also organised a cultural open-air festival.
