At Clos des Langres, Corgoloin marks the exact boundary between the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. The Clos des Langres winery in Corgoloin lies at the center of a large vineyard surrounded by walls. Those choosing Corgoloin as a destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment.
Culture
The Château de Cussigny includes façades and roofs, a chapel, a dovecote, and a park, all protected as Monuments historiques. The château has a rectangular layout with a central building and two wings. Outbuildings are grouped around a square courtyard; the property also includes a dovecote.
The Église Sainte-Anne is a church built in the 13th century in the Cistercian-Romanesque style and listed in the inventory of Monuments historiques. Its choir opens onto three chapels. The high altar contains relics of Saint Justin, Saint Maximinus, and Saint Anne.
History
The first documented mention of the fortified house at the Château de Cussigny dates from 1356; at that time, it was attacked by an English force.
The Manoir de Moux stands on a natural rise near the former Chorey–Moux routes. It is almost intact and has an approximately square layout, a tower with a pointed roof, and mullioned windows.
A Roman villa was discovered in Moux. The stele found there, “God of the Birds,” also known as the “God of Moux,” is fully preserved and kept at the Musée Archéologique de Dijon.
Winegrowing
The Clos des Langres vineyard was cultivated in the Middle Ages by monks from Cluny and Cîteaux. At the site of the Domaine d’Ardhuy in Clos des Langres, there is a wine press from the 18th century and cellars from the 17th century.
