The Chapelle Sainte-Apolline in Brianny is a religious heritage site of the Terres d’Auxois and features a Dance of Death. It is one of only two buildings in France to house an expanded Dance of Death sequence featuring men and women.

The Chapelle Sainte-Apolline has a rectangular single-nave layout and stands in the countryside just outside the village of Brianny. Unguided visits are organised via the town hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Dance of Death mural in the Chapelle Sainte-Apolline is only occasionally made accessible by appointment.
Brianny has two stone crosses dating from the 16th century. The cross at the northern entrance to the village bears a depiction of Mary Magdalene.
The historic site of Abbaye Saint-Pierre et Saint-Prix is located in the vicinity of Brianny. The wider regional area is also home to the Abbaye Saint-Joseph de Clairval monastery, the Abbaye Saint-Jean-de-Réome monastery and Château de Blaisy-Haut.

The Saint-Beury hill and Mont de Cras hill are located in the vicinity of Brianny. The wider regional area also includes Mont Auxois hill and Mont de Réa hill.
Trails
A second footbridge at Moulin Bordot crosses the river and serves the hiking trail. The Bibracte-Alésia trail can be accessed from Brianny and is marked with yellow and blue waymarkers.
Taxi Violaine is based at 34 Rue de la Martolle in Brianny and offers journeys throughout the Auxois for all distances.
