Blaisy-Bas: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture and History

The parish church of Saint-Rémi was built at the end of the 15th or beginning of the 16th century. The church was remodelled in the 17th and 18th centuries and restored between 1897 and 1899; it also has a sundial dating from 1661.

Blaisy-Bas historically had up to six washhouses. The village is home to an oil mill built at the beginning of the 19th century. The Fontaine Saint-Julien preserves traces of an old small stone basin. Blaisy-Bas is also home to the ruins of a building called Château Lorrain. Château Lorrain was demolished after the First World War, that is, after 1918.

Nature and Landscape

Blaisy-Bas is one of the municipalities within the ZNIEFF area “Val de la Drenne et coteaux entre Charencey et Dree”. The Oze rises in Blaisy-Bas. The Trou de la Roche cave is located in a rock face and opens through a distinctive portal.

The guided tour “Blaisy-Bas sur les rails du temps” is available via the free GUIDIGO app. The downloaded GUIDIGO route can be completed from the specified starting point without an internet connection. The guided tour was designed by pupils of the Blaisy-Bas school.

From March to October, Méca Passion 21 organises a free exhibition of historic vehicles in Blaisy-Bas on the third Saturday of every month. The exhibition takes place on the esplanade at Rue Chaignot, 21540 Blaisy-Bas.
