The Gothic Belle-Croix Chapel was built in 1511 by the priest Jacques Cornu and his brother Guillaume, a winegrower in Ahuy. It houses a statue of the Virgin and Child from the 14th century, which was found in one of its walls. The chapel was restored in 2011 and received the second regional award for built heritage sites in 2013.

On the CR 25, the Sentier de la Combe d’Ahuy, lies the Ahuy lime kiln, which bears witness to the work of the local stonecutters and lime burners. The kiln has only one firing chamber; calcination took four to five days. The municipality restored it in 2009 and 2010 with the support of the General Council as part of the “Plan Patrimoine insertion” programme.

The Croix d’Ouzeraules is the only one of the five wayside calvaries recorded within the municipality of Ahuy that has preserved its original condition.

Food and Drink

90 BPM Brewing Co. operates a brewery and beer bar in Ahuy that is open to visitors, with 15 taps, a terrace and a pétanque court. There, the brewery invites visitors to discover its own perspective on craft-brewed beer.

Nature

The “Pelouses et friches du plateau d’Hauteville et Ahuy” area is a type 1 continental ZNIEFF and includes the municipality of Ahuy. It lies on a limestone plateau from the Middle Jurassic, where forests, scrub-covered dry grasslands and agricultural land alternate. It is notable for regionally significant animal and plant species of dry and warm habitats.

In the Divia bus network, Ahuy is located on a route between Talant Citadelle and Plombières.
