Pluherlin combines history, outdoor activities and traditional crafts. The La Pierre Longue menhir dates back to prehistoric times, stands on the edge of the D774 towards Pleucadeuc and is almost 3.50 metres high.
Culture and History
The Notre Dame de la Barre Chapel was founded in the 15th century by the lords of Rochefort. It is the largest of Pluherlin’s three chapels.
The Bon Réconfort Chapel dates back at least to the 17th century. It houses a polychrome Christ on the cross, which is classified as a historic monument. The Notre Dame de Cartudo Chapel dates back to the 17th century; a spring is located below the chapel.
Nature and Outdoor Activities
The Circuit des Palis is a 12-kilometre route for hiking and mountain biking. Les Grées is now a protected area.
Local Production
L’Atelier de la Pépie is a traditional cider press and lemonade producer that makes organic cider. L’Atelier de la Pépie has its own shop in La Nuais, 56220 Pluherlin.
