In Le Quillio, the southern chapel of the Notre-Dame Church preserves an exceptional testament: it was initially dedicated to Notre-Dame de Délivrance and later to Our Lady of the Rosary, dates from 1486–1487, and has remnants on its eastern wall of a large pictorial program created around 1500, featuring an extremely rare depiction of the pregnant Virgin Mary.

Culture

The Chapelle Saint-Maurice in Le Quillio was built in the 15th century and partially rebuilt in the 18th century. The Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Lorette in Le Quillio was built in 1854. Part of the furnishings from Bon-Repos Abbey has also been preserved in the church in Le Quillio.

The history of linen fabrics is also present in several places. The Lavoir du Roz was used for washing linen fabrics woven in the region. The washhouse at Pont-de-la-Messe, built in the 18th century, was associated with the bleaching of linen fabrics. Le Quillio was known for bleaching linen fabrics; around 1750, 47 of the 117 bleaching works were located there. In addition, 28 houses in Le Quillio are possibly attributed to former cloth merchants.
