Vielle-Soubiran: Holiday apartments and houses

Culture

Near the Launet stream and next to the footbridge is the fountain known as the „Lait“ fountain. In the Landes, it was associated with young women suffering from a lack of milk, or agalactia. The Croix Louis XIV is a stone cross from the 17th century, decorated with a sun and marking an old crossroads.

Nature

The municipal forest of Vielle-Soubiran is a public forest. The Vielle-Soubiran arboretum was established in 1989 as a garden with 45 species of deciduous and coniferous trees, in order to accommodate and showcase trees, shrubs and plants. It has a secured footpath as well as a signposted path from the village. As part of its development, a wooden bridge crosses the Launet.

The arboretum's visitor area has a public shelter, children's furniture and an insect hotel.

Craftsmanship

Brasserie de Lugazaut is a microbrewery that produces craft beers. It offers seven beers that are available year-round, as well as seasonal or limited-edition creations developed jointly with local producers.

At its microbrewery in Vielle-Soubiran, Brasserie de Lugazaut welcomes visitors by appointment from Monday to Saturday throughout the year. The tours include the premises, the brewing process, the equipment used and the development of the recipes, as well as a tasting.
