Ozourt: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Ozourt consists of a narrow strip of land running from north to south along the left bank of the Luy de France.
For a stay in Ozourt, renting a holiday apartment is also an option.
Nature
The “A Clermont-Ozourt” circular trail mainly follows paths through wooded areas and partly runs along paved roads. An alternative starting point for the circular trail is possible at Ozourt’s multipurpose hall.
Events
The art exhibition “Au fil de l’Art”, organised by Ozourt Loisirs, reached its ninth edition in 2026 and took place on 20 and 21 June 2026 in Ozourt’s multipurpose hall. It featured painting, photography and sculpture, as well as workshops in drawing, ceramic modelling and metal forging.
Culture
The church on Avenue des Pyrénées in Ozourt belongs to the Sainte Thérèse de Chalosse parish. The Romanesque church of Saint-Martin d’Ozourt probably dates back to the Middle Ages. Its features include a semicircular apse with old loopholes and an unusual bell tower, which makes it recognisable. During battles, the church served as a refuge for the population.
Cuisine
Pastis de la Chalosse is available at the Maison Laborde pastry shop in Ozourt. Maison Laborde’s pastis has rum and vanilla aromas as well as a characteristic brioche-like crumb. Its recipe has remained unchanged for more than 40 years.
