In the centre of Castelnau-Chalosse, the Maison de la Vannerie traces the importance of basket-making as an economic activity in the 18th and 19th centuries. On display are baskets, wicker containers, eel traps and photographs from earlier times. In July and August, the Maison de la Vannerie offers tours accompanied by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic host.

The Circuit de la plaine du Luy is a hilly circular route featuring varied landscapes and noteworthy elements of the built heritage. The circular trail also offers beautiful views over the Luy plain.

Since 2008, the Ferme équestre de Bertron has been located on an exceptional site in the rural surroundings of Castelnau-Chalosse in the Landes, sharing its passion for horses.

At Quiller de 9, visitors can discover this traditional game on Friday afternoons and receive guidance from passionate players. The game uses nine large beechwood pins, a walnut-wood ball and twelve figures; it is played on a square clay court or outdoors on a so-called plantier.
