Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment may consider Aurice as a destination.

Culture

The Church of Notre-Dame d’Aurice houses a carved wooden statue of Notre-Dame d’Aurice. The Notre-Dame de Lagastet Chapel was built by the Barons of Estignols; a Gallo-Roman holy-water basin is preserved inside it. The Château d’Estignols was rebuilt in the 17th century.

The present site of the Notre-Dame des Pins fountain is located 600 metres from the village and includes a small shrine. Several ceremonies take place at this site every year.

Landes Bullfighting

The Landes bullfighting arena in Aurice is a semi-built wooden arena with five bevelled sides. The Arènes d’Aurice were rebuilt in 1994, replacing the 1949 arena. In Aurice, Landes bullfighting traditionally takes place during the annual patron saint’s festival in mid-August.
