At Schlossbuckel, Rimbachzell preserves the remains of a fortification and a keep dating from the 10th century.
Culture
The Église Saint-Pierre-et-Paul stands on the site of an earlier 15th-century church and houses remarkable organs built by Joseph Callinet in 1852. A church dedicated to Saint Peter had already been built in Rimbachzell around 752. In the 17th century, a hamlet of glassmakers was established on the slopes of the Grand Ballon.

Hiking
The family hike around Rimbach-Zell and Sainte Anne starts at the Place de l'église in Rimbach-Zell, is approximately 5 km long, and leads through woodland, meadows, and the village.
The Sentier des châteaux forts n°5 starts at the car park near the town hall of Rimbach-Zell. The hiking route is 16 km long, has a moderate difficulty level, and features a positive elevation gain of 480 m. At 927 m, it reaches the ruins of Château de Freundstein. It also passes traces of Château de Schlossbuckel and the Croix Zimmermann.
Townscape
The old houses of Rimbach-Zell are typical valley houses. They stand on steep slopes, have two ground-level floors, and combine living quarters with rooms for agriculture and livestock farming under one roof.
