Culture and History
The ruins of Château du Morimont in Oberlarg are classified as a historic monument; this protection is based on a decree dated October 1, 1841. Château du Morimont was first mentioned in 1183 and was destroyed by French troops during the Thirty Years' War. The site is currently closed to public access due to construction work, but the ruins can be walked around. A path leads around Château du Morimont; due to the closure, the curtain walls, watchtowers, and the exceptional vaulted cellar can currently only be viewed from the outside or through the gates. The interior of the château and the vaulted cellar can also be seen through the gates.
The Church of Saint Martin in Oberlarg was first mentioned in the 1360s. From 1349 until the French Revolution, it was cared for by Cistercian monks from Lucelle Abbey. The church in Oberlarg contains Baroque furnishings, including a high altar, two inset reliquaries, and two side altars with altarpieces. The preserved Ferme dite de la Vacherie farm complex, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, includes a rectangular barn bearing the date 1784; the entire complex was placed under protection in 2007.

Nature
The walk to the Source de la Largue takes about 30 minutes and is accessible year-round. A few metres from the source of the Largue lies the Mannlefelsen rock shelter. Its eight-metre stratigraphy encompasses the entire prehistory of the Alsatian Jura. The site is private and can only be viewed from the path.
The Chêne géant du Morimont oak tree is 32 metres tall, has a circumference of 6.70 metres, and is more than 500 years old. It can be reached on foot from Oberlarg: follow the yellow rectangular markings, continue another 100 metres along the edge of the forest, and you will find the tree below the path on the right.
Hiking
The signposted Oberlarg–Château du Morimont circular hiking trail is 9.2 kilometres long. It starts at Oberlarg Town Hall or at Château du Morimont.
