The Grotte des Nains can be reached from the car park of the Communauté de Communes in Ferrette (3A route de Lucelle) via a red-marked diamond trail along the road towards Sondersdorf; the access route is 1.8 km long and takes approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
The Ferrette–Château–Grotte des Nains hike can be extended into an 8 km circular route that includes the Rossberg lookout tower.
The Tour du Rossberg can be reached on foot from the motorhome parking area in Ferrette in approximately 20 minutes. The panorama from the summit of the Tour du Rossberg encompasses the Jura, the Black Forest, the Vosges and, in clear weather, the Bernese Alps.
