Blotzheim showcases its history through several prominent buildings. The Chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Chêne is a pilgrimage chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary and served as a parish church from the 14th to the 17th century.
The Chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Chêne has been listed as a historic monument since 1986. Several periods can be identified in its construction: the bell tower dates from 1494, the nave from 1629, and the present-day choir from the reconstruction carried out between 1712 and 1717.
The Église Saint-Léger was built between 1852 and 1864 and is known as the „Cathédrale du Sundgau“. The present-day Château de Blotzheim replaced a medieval castle in 1730; the castle had been destroyed in 1445.
Trails and Nature
Blotzheim has two circular trails belonging to the Circuit des Calvaires. Each of the two trails is approximately 5 kilometres long and starts at the car park of the Maison du Parc. They highlight the town’s calvaries as important testimonies to its past.
Some sections of the Circuit des Calvaires run through open countryside; there is an alternative route between points 1 and 2.
The Maison du Parc is made available for possible exhibitions, conferences and meetings.

Shows take place at the Casino Barrière Blotzheim throughout the year.
Cuisine
The Blotz'Café at the Casino Barrière offers brasserie classics such as burgers, Caesar salad and fish & chips, as well as a seasonal dish and cocktails.
The Brasserie La Bicéphale in Blotzheim offers a wide selection of beers to take away, including pale, white, amber, IPA and flavoured beers brewed with local ingredients.
