Biesheim: Holiday apartments and houses

The permanent exhibition of the Musée gallo-romain is divided into four thematic areas and explores Gallo-Roman civilization as well as the military presence in Oedenburg. Cycling and leisure

The pump track in Biesheim is intended for sports and recreational use with BMX bikes, roller skates, skateboards and scooters. It is located on a former industrial site that has been restored to nature near the Giessen.

Biesheim’s cycle paths connect Kunheim, Volgelsheim, Neuf-Brisach and other villages. The cycle network covers 20 kilometres and includes a section of the “Véloroute Rhin”, a European route.

Water

The marina on the Île du Rhin is located between the Rhine and the Canal d’Alsace. It has 220 berths and accepts requests for stopovers.

Visitors can take a trip on the Giessen in a shallow boat with a boat operator. The boat trip lasts 45 minutes and starts at the former slaughterhouse on Rue du Stade, 68600 Biesheim.

Local

The weekly market held in Biesheim on Wednesdays resumed on 6 May 2026. It features seasonal fruit and vegetables, cheese, artisanally produced bread and local meat from short supply chains.
