Culture and History
The Chapelle du Holzbad St Ulrich is a Romanesque chapel dating from the 12th century. Wall paintings from the 14th century were discovered in the chapel in 1966.
Today’s Eglise St Matthieu stands on the site of an 11th-century Romanesque church. The neo-Gothic Eglise St Matthieu was built from 1895 to 1897. Medieval remains were reused in the walls of today’s Eglise St Matthieu.
The Maison des Bains is adjacent to the Chapelle du Holzbad St Ulrich and was built at a site where baths already existed in Roman times.
Leisure
The Zone de loisirs intergénérationnelle includes a multi-purpose sports field. Day and half-day fishing are available at the APSAN fishing pond in Westhouse.
