The Lutheran church of Solbach is located on Rue Principale. It was built according to plans by district architect Antoine Ringeisen and blessed by Pastor Charles Emmanuel Witz on January 8, 1860.

The cemetery in Solbach was also laid out according to plans by district architect Antoine Ringeisen.

The single-story farmhouses dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, scattered throughout Solbach, bear witness to a significant subsistence economy.

The original village of Solbach was located farther down in the valley. After repeated attacks during the Thirty Years' War (1618–1648), the survivors resettled higher up in the valley to hide from the enemy armies passing below along the Bruche.

Hiking

The 13-kilometer hiking trail CIRCUIT RANDO C19: Autour du Haut des Monts is designated as a walking route and begins at 3 Chemin du Chenot in Solbach.

The route Tour du mont Saint-Jean circles Mont Saint-Jean and reaches the village of Solbach about 2.5 kilometers later. It also offers a 2-kilometer round trip to the summit, with a walking time of 40 minutes and panoramic views of the surrounding area.

The hiking trail CIRCUIT RANDO C03 leads from Fouday through Solbach and over the legendary Col de la Perheux to the green landscapes around Belmont and onward to Waldersbach before returning to Fouday.

Cycling

The cycle route CIRCUIT VÉLO C25 reaches Solbach from the Col de la Perheux via the Maison des Amis de la Nature.

Local Life and Art

Chèvrerie du Solbet at 1 Chemin de la Croisette produces goat's milk cheese and sells its products in the morning.

Jardin de Martine Cassar in Solbach displays outdoor sculptures as well as other works by the artist in an exhibition room.
