Reichsfeld: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Reichsfeld lies at the end of the Schernetz Valley and at the foot of the Ungersberg. The houses in the village are situated in hilly terrain. Forest covers more than half of the municipality's area.

Hiking

The Andlau–Ungersberg–Bernardvillé circular hike is a moderately difficult hike covering 16.9 kilometres and taking approximately 5.5 hours.

On this circular hike, you reach Reichsfeld after the Ungersberg; from the church, it continues towards Bernardvillé.

Nature

The car park for the VERONICA botanical trail is at the entrance to Reichsfeld, next to the playground in Leh.

The VERONICA botanical trail passes through forests, vineyards, meadows, orchards, fallow land and heathland.

Along the trail, several plant species are presented that are listed on the Red List of endangered species in Alsace, including the Véronique flower.

Culture

The Maison aux Dîmes, Maison de Tonnelier, de Vigneron in Reichsfeld is a cooper's house. The year 1714 is inscribed on the cellar entrance door, and 1720 on the bottom of the staircase.

The two columns of the Maison aux Dîmes, Maison de Tonnelier, de Vigneron are said to have come from Baumgarten Abbey.

A bowl depicting John the Baptist in the church of Reichsfeld is located in the presbytery. It dates from 1690 and is classified as a protected object.

Wine and Local Places

Reichsfeld has an early winemaking tradition. Domaine Borès is located in Reichsfeld at the foot of the Ungersberg.

Domaine Borès describes Sohlenberg and Schieferberg as its two outstanding terroirs. Domaine Borès has been growing grapevines since the 18th century.

Domaine Borès lists Apéro Gourmand and Pique-nique chez le vigneron among its special offerings.

Domaine Borès generally states opening hours from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and asks visitors to announce their visit in advance.
