Osthouse: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Osthouse Castle is a lowland castle with a water-filled moat and dates back to the 15th century. The façades and roofs of the two castle wings with their towers, the entrance bastion, the courtyard with its well, the surrounding wall, and the moat of Osthouse Castle were classified as a historic monument by decree of 15 March 1983.

Culture

The Route des crèches invites visitors to discover nativity scenes in the churches of the parish community. Several of these churches are normally closed to the public; during the Route des crèches, the church in Osthouse is exceptionally open to visitors. The nativity scenes along the Route des crèches bear witness to local craftsmanship and a lively faith.

The Church of Saint Bartholomew in Osthouse has been listed as a historic monument since 1937. The names and coats of arms of former members of the Zorn de Bulach family are displayed on its outer wall. The church stands on a small hill.

Nature

The Sentier du Bronnwasser trail runs along the Bronnwasser karst spring and the Ill River. It is signposted by the Club Vosgien and leads through the surrounding forests and meadows of Osthouse.
