At 83 Rue Principale in Olwisheim stands a farm whose residential building bears the year 1878 on its entrance lintel. The farm is considered a characteristic example of Second Empire architecture.

The Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul simultaneous church has existed since 1717. Its organ has been classified as a cultural heritage item by the French Ministry of Culture. A Nuit des Églises programme has already been held in this church.

The Maie or Maiestecke tradition takes place every year in May on the eve of Ascension Day. In Olwisheim, the Alsatian tradition of the Maie or Maiestecke, also known as “Les Arbres de Mai”, is still continued.
The celebrations on 13 July traditionally include the distribution of the 14-juillet Wecke, a traditional yeast pastry shaped like a small brioche man.
Nature
The areas south of the village between the buildings along Rue Principale and the Vierbruckgraben are regarded as an important element of ecological diversity.
