Culture and History
The Protestant church of Kutzenhausen was built between 1763 and 1765. Its furnishings include a remarkable oak pulpit, made shortly after 1765. The fortified Fleckenstein farm complex dates in its present form from the 16th century; the year 1565 is displayed above the entrance to the farmyard.
The “Atelier de Yolande” is an art studio with a room for creating and exhibiting works throughout the year.

The signposted “Promenade découverte de Kutzenhausen” walking route is 4.5 km long, takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes, is open to everyone and starts at the “Maison Rurale de l’Outre-Forêt”. It includes a visit to the “Maison Rurale de l’Outre-Forêt”, with a tour of the former farmhouse focusing on the region’s rural way of life, and passes around twenty remarkable buildings.
The easy circular hiking trail “Sur les traces du pétrole” is 8.5 km long, takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes, and leads through fields to the village of Kutzenhausen, its half-timbered houses and the “Maison Rurale de l’Outre-Forêt”.
At the “Printemps des pelotes” event at the “Maison Rurale de l’Outre-Forêt” and in Kutzenhausen’s multipurpose hall, there are demonstrations and workshops on dyeing, knitting, carding, spinning, weaving and felting.

Soultzerkopf, a mountain, is located in the area around Kutzenhausen. Wegelnburg, a castle, and Eselsberg, a mountain, are also nearby. Wittschlössl, a castle, is located in the wider regional surroundings of Kutzenhausen.

Nature
The “Garden of the Four Times” invites visitors to stroll across 55 ares behind an Alsatian house dating from 1731, among trees and perennials and beside a water feature. The garden is maintained in an environmentally responsible manner, without chemicals or irrigation.
