Several traditional half-timbered houses have been preserved in Elsenheim to this day. The bell tower of the Eglise St-Jacques-le-Majeur was built in 1825; the nave and choir date from 1854. Behind the Eglise St-Jacques-le-Majeur, Father Ga-dit-Gentil created a replica of the Lourdes Grotto.
History
The Sentier de découverte Elsenheim-Lascaux is 2 kilometers long. Along the route, there is an information board at the former smithy.
