Culture and History
The Fontaine on the Place de la Metzig in Blienschwiller has been listed as a historic monument since 29 April 1931.
The parish church of Sainte-Marie, Saints-Innocents preserves evidence of different construction phases. The lower section of its Romanesque choir tower dates from the late 12th century or the first quarter of the 13th century. The nave was rebuilt or newly constructed shortly after 1439 and fitted with ribbed vaults.
Adjacent to the church is a covered Mont des Oliviers with polychrome wooden statues from the 17th century. The procession of the Rogation Days begins at the Chapelle St Erasme.
