The present-day buildings of the Moulin de Berstett were erected in 1789. Originally, the Muhbach stream supplied the energy to power the vertical waterwheel of the former mill in Berstett.

Culture
The Église Saint-Michel de Berstett was completely rebuilt in 1727. It preserves several tombstones bearing genealogies of the Berstett nobility. The original well at the presbytery of Berstett also still has its stone cover and a cattle trough.
The Groupe d’Art Populaire de Berstett was founded in 1938 to preserve folk art, popular traditions and traditional costumes. It presents old, ritual, Messti, children’s and contemporary dances. In Berstett, visitors can also see farmhouses with coats of arms, typical decorations, and religious sayings or Bible verses.
History
The Château de Berstett was rebuilt by Jacques Adam (1665–1748). The manor house of Berstett was sold as national property during the Revolution; the buyer sold it stone by stone. The presbytery of Berstett dates from approximately 1756.
