Activities

In summer, Mont Champ du Feu has two 100-metre-long tubing runs, which can be reached by conveyor belt. Electrically assisted bicycles are rented on site at Mont Champ du Feu, allowing visitors to explore the surrounding area. Cheval Alsace offers two-hour or full-day horseback rides in the Champ du Feu massif.

Champ du Feu is located on the GR5 and offers numerous signposted hiking trails for hikes lasting several hours and full-day tours.

Winter

Champ du Feu has more than 80 kilometres of signposted, freely accessible cross-country ski trails. In winter, visitors can use prepared paths for snowshoeing or hikes with snowshoes. Professional guides are available for snowshoe excursions; poles and snowshoes can be rented on site.

The CDF03 snowshoe trail starts at Struthof in Belmont, leads to Champ du Messin with views of the Rothaine Valley, and returns to the starting point via the forest below the former Natzweiler-Struthof camp.

Cuisine

Auberge Hazemann is known for mountain specialities, fondues, raclettes and the local three-meat chapeaurade.
