Christiansgave is Hjørring’s oldest town park and makes a suitable starting point for exploring on foot. The blue Clover Trail follows Hjørring’s watercourse from the town centre along the new winding stream through the Folkeparkruten to the rainwater basins in Bejts Vænge. The Folkeparkruten itself is a 2.0 km hiking trail with a paved path that is lit during the dark hours.

The red trail markers offer a different experience: Kløversti Hjertestien leads from the centre of Hjørring up through Hjørring Bjerge and passes through protected meadow areas and nutrient-poor grassland. The four existing Clover Trails all begin and end at Springvandspladsen. When planning your day, you can therefore choose between a trail along the watercourse, a 2.0 km walk and a route through Hjørring Bjerge without mixing up the individual experiences.

From Bellevue udsigtstårn, the view extends across Hjørring Bjerge, the town of Hjørring and the North Sea. There is also a car park as well as tables and benches at the viewpoint tower. Discover art and the history of the town

Vendsyssel Kunstmuseum is located in the heart of Hjørring in a former cloth factory. Its collection of modern Danish art from 1945 to the present includes painting, sculpture, crafts and graphic art, and focuses on art and artists connected with Vendsyssel. Sct. Catharinæ Kirke is a late Romanesque brick church in the inner town area, the youngest of Hjørring’s three medieval churches and the town’s main church.
