Nature
Brno-Country District includes Bobrava Nature Park, a generally protected area covering 30.90 km² that was designated in 1982. The nature park lies in wooded terrain along the middle course of the Bobrava stream in the central part of the Bobrava Highlands. On Bučín Hill are the scant remains of a medieval fortress first mentioned as early as 1349.
The Tišnovsko Route follows nature along the banks of the Svratka. In the surrounding area of Brno-Country District are Brno Zoo, Helenčina studánka, Osvobození Orchards and Lužánky Park. In the wider regional area are Tempelštejn, Babí Lom and Zlobica. Šibeník lies in the vicinity of Brno-Country District.

Židlochovice is described as an apricot-growing area; the fruit comes from Výhon. On Výhon Hill above Židlochovice stands a lookout tower made of acacia wood.
