Blansko District: holiday apartments and holiday homes

In the surrounding area of Blansko District lies Býčí skála, a national nature reserve and part of the second-longest cave system in the Czech Republic. Nature

The upper viewing platform at the Macocha Abyss is 138 metres above the bottom of the chasm, while the lower viewing platform is 92 metres above the lower part of the chasm. Culture and history

In the surrounding area, Rájec nad Svitavou Chateau is a national cultural monument. It was built between 1763 and 1769 in the French Neoclassical style. The greenhouses of Rájec nad Svitavou Chateau are open to the public during the blooming of the camellias in February and March.

The garden and orangery of Lysice Chateau are available in the surrounding area as a route for self-guided tours. In Blansko, the ironworks became the largest producer of cast iron in Moravia and Austrian Silesia and exported its products worldwide.

The exhibition on the archaeology of the Blanensko region presents Hallstatt finds from Býčí skála, including evidence associated with at least forty human remains. Trails and viewpoints

The Rozhledna Podvrší observation tower is located in the surrounding area beside a blue-marked hiking trail and cycle route 5116 between Blansko and Boskovice. The tower is 49 metres high and is reached via 168 green iron steps. A seasonal tourist information centre operates at Rozhledna Podvrší.
