Sobín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Sobín is home to a former chapel with a small bell tower and bell, built in 1885. It is considered an outstanding example of a small Neo-Gothic religious building from 1885 and one of the few structures of this type documented by original plans.

Culture

Sobín is also home to the Baroque Boží muka, a protected cultural monument dating from 1776. Other named architectural and museum sites in the Sobín area include Letohrádek královny Anny, a château; Stará kanalizační čistírna Praha-Bubeneč, a museum; Galerie Rudolfinum, also a museum; and Palác Kinských, a palace.

Cycling

The cycling connection between Zličín, Sobín and Hostivice is particularly used by families with children for recreational bike rides. The existing connection runs along a narrow, heavily trafficked road that is perceived as dangerous.

New markings for cycling route A15 were planned for the Zličín–Sobín section in 2023. New markings were also designated for cycling route A15 on the section between Zličín and Sobín. The cycling tour from Zličín to Břve reaches the road between Sobín and Hostivice and there joins marked cycling route 201.

Nature

Paths through the deciduous forest lead to Břevský rybník, with an educational trail running along its shore. A forest park near Břve is part of the Hostivické rybníky natural monument.

The area around Sobín also includes the islands of Střelecký ostrov, Slovanský ostrov and Veslařský ostrov, as well as Doutnáč Mountain.
