Přerov District: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
The cellar of Helfštýn Castle contains five rooms with exhibits of artistic blacksmithing from a collection of more than 1,300 pieces. Currently, four courtyards of Helfštýn are open to visitors. Visitors can walk through all levels of the castle via steel footbridges and reach a viewing platform overlooking the Moravian Gate valley. Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Přerov District can continue their accommodation search afterwards.
Culture
The permanent exhibitions of the Comenius Museum in Přerov Castle cover almost 1,200 square metres. Hustopeče nad Bečvou Castle offers visitors a courtyard, a lapidarium, an art gallery, and museums dedicated to butchery, film, and cooking stoves. Tovačov Castle presents the owners of the estate, its architectural and historical development, and notable historical figures. Tovačov lies near the confluence of the Morava and Bečva rivers.
Nature
ORNIS is located near Michalov Park and the Žebračka National Nature Reserve. Waterbirds can be observed year-round at the confluence of the Strhanec and Bečva rivers near the centre of Přerov. The Žebračka National Nature Reserve is home to records of 139 bird species, including 79 breeding species. Michalov Park is a cultural monument and a protected landscape feature with early 20th-century garden architecture and floodplain flowers. At a wooden observation point above a small, gradually silting body of water, visitors can observe birds, amphibians, invertebrates, aquatic flora, and characteristic floodplain trees.
