Culture

The Biosfera Interpretation Centre in Biograd na Moru is dedicated to preserving and promoting the natural heritage of this area. The Benedictine Monastery of Sv. Ivana Evanđelista in Biograd na Moru was founded in February 1060 by the Croatian King Petar Krešimir IV. The Basilica of Sv. Ivana Evanđelista and the adjoining Benedictine monastery were located in the centre of Biograd na Moru. The imposing Basilica of Sv. Ivana Evanđelista was built next to the Benedictine monastery in the 11th century.

Coast

Plaža Dražica has been awarded the Blue Flag, which signifies high standards for the cleanliness of the sea, environmental protection and safety. A pine forest stretches along the coast at Plaža Dražica and provides natural shade.

Plaža Soline has pebble and sandy areas as well as a designated swimming area, and is located in a pine forest. Plaža Soline offers pedal boats, kayaks and a water park. Soline Bay can be reached by car or on foot via the Dražice coastal promenade.

Leisure and Activities

Dalmaland is a theme and water park with four themed areas: Pirate City, Wild West, Space and Water World. Dalmaland has more than 40 attractions in total, including the Big blue, Alien and Mine train coaster roller coasters, the Adria Eye Ferris wheel, bumper cars, carousels, a wave pool and slides. The park also includes children's areas.

A 17.2 km-long trekking route begins in Biograd na Moru, leads to Fun Park near Biograd and continues towards Vransko jezero.

Water

Marina Kornati has 15 fully equipped piers with 750 berths, as well as electricity and water connections. More than 40 national and international regattas in all classes take place at Marina Kornati every year.
