Hiking
The complete “Izvor života” route in Kučine is approximately 9.5 kilometres long, has an elevation difference of 600 metres and takes about four hours at a leisurely pace. Panoramic views open up from the slopes of Mosor. The route includes Kuk Fortress, which served as a defensive position against the Turks.
The Podine sports centre has a small football pitch and basketball hoops. The sports centre also includes a fenced children's park with play equipment and a street workout area.
History
Kuk Fortress stood on the old border between Klis and Split and was disputed between the Venetians and the Turks.
The 285-metre-high Gradina or Stari grad rock preserves traces of a prehistoric hill fort as well as a fortification from the period of the Venetian-Ottoman wars. Defensive walls and house walls are still recognisable.
St Luke's Church stands in the local cemetery of Kučine. Due to an inscription above the entrance, it is considered to be a building from the pre-Ottoman period.
The small Church of St Peter in Kučine dates from the 17th century and was built on the foundations of an older church that the Turks destroyed together with the nearby Kuk Fortress.

St Luke's Church in Kučine has a wooden, polychrome and gilded altar. It is a small church from the 12th or 13th century and is associated with the Brotherhood of St Luke, which has been documented since 1467.
The Chapel of St Peter contains a wooden altar with a panel depicting the Madonna and Child, angels, and St Peter, St Roch and St George.
The white-stone portal of the parish church bears the inscription “Kuća moja od molitve moje – 22. X. 1871.”
