Obrovac Sinjski lies on the left bank of the Cetina River, at the northeastern edge of Hrvatačko polje. As a result, the town is situated by the river in an open field landscape.

Nature

In the immediate vicinity of Obrovac Sinjski are Svi Sveti and Slanica. The surrounding area includes Kozarska Pećina, Preslo, Gornja Kamešnica, Sveti Ilija and Sveti Ivan. Further afield in the region lies Velika Gospa.
