Culture and History

In Krković stands the Church of All Saints, which is listed as a sacred cultural monument in Šibenik-Knin County. It is the parish church of the Piramatovci parish; a fragment of an early Croatian monument has been incorporated into its façade. The church is considered to be a 13th-century building and stands on a hill regarded as a place with an ancient sacred character.

Krković is located in the archaeological area of Bribir. Vrbica is an independent archaeological site on the road between Krković and B. Mostina. The Pećane archaeological site contains a Palaeolithic cemetery. The Krković Bosančica inscriptions are designated as funerary monuments from the Piramatovci parish. Further along the road from the Church of All Saints in Krković towards Žažvić, Vrbica is described as a larger, investigated necropolis; on the same road, several hundred metres from the church, there is also a small old cemetery.

Cycling and Routes

Krković is included in the 35.8 km-long recreational cycling route “Track of History”. The gravel route connects Skradin with Bribir, Bribirska Glavica and other settlements in the Skradin area. The Guduća route is also designated exclusively for mountain bikes. It includes a technical descent that is not recommended for inexperienced riders.
